- Kaydence Kemp (Niagara Falls, ON/Niagara Falls Rapids) led the Bengals with a pair of goals.
- Silva and Sydney Radecki (Lancaster, NY/Buffalo Regals) also scored for Buffalo State.
- Running Rabbit had a pair of assists while Vanessa Willick (Williamsville, NY/Buffalo Bisons) also tallied a point on an assist.
- In goal, Auge made 30 saves for the win.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Both sides were in a stalemate offensively as no one found the back of the net in the first period.
- The Mustangs got on the board first, however, the Bengals responded almost immediately as Radecki evened the score.
- Morrisville would add a power play goal at the end of the period to take a 2-1 lead.
- Silva found an opportunity and cashed in as she evened things up at 2-2.
- Late in the third period, Kemp scored to give Buffalo State the lead. She would later score an empty net goal to give the Bengals the conference win.
FOR THE FOES
- Kennedy Kirkby scored a pair of goals for the Mustangs.
- Sydney Canham made 30 saves in the effort.
