CLERMONT, FL – The Buffalo State softball team split their final two matchups at THE Spring Games as the defeated Farmingdale State before falling to Colby College.

INSIDE THE BENGAL BOX SCORE
- Cam O'Hara (Troy, NY/Catholic Central) homered for Buffalo State while Erin Paolilli (Poughkeepsie, NY/Arlington) picked up two hits and two RBI.
- Madison Lucas (Oakdale, PA/West Allegheny) got the start for the Bengals going the first four innings while Izzy Pezdek (Lancaster, NY/Grand Island) earned the win on the mound pitching three scoreless innings in relief with four strikeouts.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Rams struck first as they scored a run in each of the first four innings.
- The Buffalo State offense came to life in the fifth inning as they scored three runs after Paolill's two-run single, and a sac fly from Ella Stewart (Orchard Park, NY/Orchard Park).
- Buffalo State added a pair of runs to take the lead in the sixth before O'Hara launched her second home run of the season to seal the game for the Bengals.
- After a 1-2-3 seventh inning, the Bengals secured their fourth win over five games.
FOR THE FOES
- Angelina Capuano picked up two RBI for Farmingdale.
- Madison DeMaio took the loss on the mound allowing eight runs on ten hits over seven innings.

INSIDE THE BENGAL BOX SCORE
- O'Hara had another dominate showing at the plate with a five RBI performance.
- Lucas and Grace Albano (North Tonawanda, NY/Niagara-Wheatfield) each had a pair of hits for the Bengals.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Each sides exchanged a pair of runs in the first inning.
- Colby would later score three unanswered runs to take a 5-4 lead.
- In the bottom of the fourth, O'Hara came up with the bases loaded and launched a grand slam to center field to give the Bengals the lead.
- Albano added an RBI double in the fifth to give the Bengals an insurance run.
- Down to their final strike, Colby hit a three-run home run to take the lead before they sat down the Bengals in the bottom half of the inning to secure the win.
FOR THE FOES
- Sophia Meade pitched seven innings in relief allowing five runs with six strikeouts.
- Kelsey Sullivan hit the game-winning three-run homer in the top of the seventh.
