BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State women's soccer team suffered their first loss of the season this afternoon against Lycoming College with a final score of 8-3 on Coyer Field.

• Emily Bombard (Chaument, NY/Immaculate Heart), Kaylee Valentic (North Tonawanda, NY/North Tonawanda), and Willa Overton (Watertown, NY/Watertown) each scored for the Bengals.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Bengals got off to a fast start as Bombard score less than ten minutes into the action.
• Lycoming responded with four unanswered goals to carry a 4-1 lead into halftime.
• After an early goal from the Warriors in the second half, Valentic netted her first goal of the season to give the Bengals life.
• Overton netted her first of the season, but Lycoming kept their foot on the gas to secure the win.
• Overall, the Bengals outshout the Warriors 23-14.

• Gabriella Rabinowitz scored twice for the Warriors.
• Riley Block and Marissa Price combined for 12 saves in the win.
