HOW IT HAPPENED
- It was a stalemate on both sides for the first half. After a yellow card on the Bengals, Grove City missed an opportunity wide left.
- Following a Buffalo State foul, Grove City capitalized in the second half as they scored to break the ice.
- The Bengals attempted to make a late push, but the Wolverines defense kept Buffalo State scoreless to hand them their first loss of the season.
- Overall, Grove City outshot the Bengals 14-8 while also taking advantage in corner kicks with a 7-2 margin.
FOR THE FOES
- Aidan Eck was the difference maker, scoring the lone goal in the win with Luke Kimmich earning the assist.
