BUFFALO, NY – Hailey Kulniszewski (Elma, NY/Iroquois) of the Buffalo State women's volleyball team and Diego Rivera (East Meadow, NY/Cairo Durham) of the Buffalo State men's soccer team have been named SUNYAC Athletes of the Week for their standout performances this past weekend.

Kulniszewski collected her first SUNYAC Women's Volleyball Defensive Athlete of the Week honor, marking an impressive start to her collegiate career. The freshman libero anchored the Bengals' defense during a perfect 3-0 run at the University of Rochester Tournament, totaling 58 digs and posting an .867 reception percentage across eight sets. She also contributed a kill, 10 assists, and seven service aces, earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team.

Rivera earned his third consecutive SUNYAC Men's Soccer Offensive Athlete of the Week award after recording his first career four-goal game in Buffalo State's 6-2 non-conference victory over Brockport. He currently leads the SUNYAC with 20 points, tallying eight goals and four assists throughout the season.
