NEW WILMINGTON, PA – The Buffalo State women's soccer team earned an impressive 5-0 victory over Westminster College this afternoon at the UPMC Sports Complex.

INSIDE THE BENGAL BOX SCORE

• Emily Maczka (Buffalo, NY/Williamsville North) and Makenzie Below (Saugerties, NY/Saugerties) each tallied a goal and an assist.
• Gwen Jarosz (North Tonawanda, NY/Niagara Wheatfield), Lindsay DePietro (Whitesboro, NY/Whitesboro) and Nicole Bobcik (Lemont, IL/Lemont Township) also scored for Buffalo State.
• Addy Williams (Grapevine, TX/Grapevine) and Liz Flores (Hurst, TX/Colleyville Heritage) combined for four saves for the shutout.
   

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Maczka and Jarosz each scored to get the Buffalo State offense going with a pair of goals within the first six minutes of action.
• Below got in on the scoring later in the half to give the Bengals a 3-0 lead heading into halftime.
• Bobcik and DePietro each scored as the Buffalo State defense held strong for their fourth shutout of the season.
• Overall, Buffalo State outshot Westminster 32-9 overall with 19 shots on goal.

 
FOR THE FOES

• Morgan Murphy and Emily Codere combined for 14 saves in goal in the effort.
