FREDONIA, NY – The #16 Buffalo State men's soccer team closed out the Fredonia Classic in style, cruising past Alfred University, 4-0, to finish the tournament unbeaten.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bengals entered their final game of the Fredonia Classic looking to build on their strong performance against Bryant & Stratton, taking on the Alfred University Saxons. After a balanced opening, Mushonga broke through with a goal in the 27th minute, followed by a second Bengals strike in the 39th for a 2-0 halftime lead.
- The Bengals carried their momentum into the second half, quickly extending the lead with a third goal in the 48th minute of play.
- On the defensive end, Smith and the Bengals' backline controlled the pace and limited the Saxons chances throughout the contest.
- Turning defense into offense, the Bengals added a fourth goal late, sealing a dominant victory and capping an undefeated run at the Fredonia Classic.

- Niko Lampros and Xavier Bowman each tallied a shot for the Saxons.
- Tyler Mulholland played the full game, making six saves in net.
