• Both sides came out fast on offense with four combined goals in the period. After Oswego broke the ice, the Bengals scored two goals of their own before the Lakers evened the score late in the period.
• The Lakers added a pair of goals in the second period to carry a 4-2 advantage into the final 20 minutes of action.
• Despite late pressure from the Bengals, Oswego scored late in the third period on an empty net.
