ROCHESTER, NY – The Buffalo State women's hockey team earned a 2-2 tie against #5 Nazareth this afternoon at the Tim Horton's Iceplex.

- Vanessa Willick (Williamsville, NY/Buffalo Bisons) scored both goals for the Bengals.
- Alexa Todd (Owen Sound, ON/Saugeen Maitland Lightning) made 42 saves in goal.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Both sides were in a stalemate after the opening period, however, the Golden Flyers held the early advantage with 10 shots on goal compared to Buffalo State's six.
- Willick got the scoring started for the Bengals early in the second period with her seventh goal of the year. Nazareth responded shortly to even the score at 1-1.
- Heading into the final 20 minutes of action, Nazareth was able to take the lead on a power play opportunity.
- With just under two minutes to go, Willick evened the score at 2-2 with a shorthanded goal.
- Both sides pressured but could not find the back of the net in overtime as they scored stayed 2-2.
FOR THE FOES
- Logan Marchese and Ave Meteyer each scored for Nazareth.
- Mia Gonsalves made 23 saves in goal for the Golden Flyers.
