BROCKPORT, NY – The Buffalo State men's and women's indoor track & field teams returned to action this afternoon at the Brockport Invite, hosted at the Special Events and Recreation Center (SERC).
 
THE BENGAL BREAKDOWN

• Natalia Sawyer (Schenectady, NY/Schalmont) crossed the line first in the 400-meter dash at 58.19 as well as the 200-meter dash at 25.84.
• Matthew Thompson (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa) came away with the win in the men's shot put at 14.28 meters.
• Logan Abate (Green Brook, NJ/Watchung Hills) finished second in 60-meter dash with a time of 7.01. Terrell Price (Depew, NY/Depew) finished third with a time of 7.18. Abate later took home fourth in the 200-meter.
• Ricky Curiel (East Amherst, NY/Clarence) finished second in the 5,000 meter with a time of 16:07. Mattia Case finished fourth at 16:54.
• Ethan Mitrano (Penfield, NY/Penfield) was second in the weight throw at 16.01 meters while Bryan Honan (Cortland, NY/Cortland) finished fourth and Donovan DuBard (Cheektowaga, NY/Cheektowaga) was fifth.
• Nyla Wilson-Epps (Buffalo, NY/Tapestry) threw 11.13 meters in the shot put, good for a third place finish.
