BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State men's hockey team won a thrilling 5-4 overtime matchup with the Fredonia Blue Devils tonight at the Ice Arena.

- Lucas Signoretti (Ottawa, ON/Sudbury Cubs) scored twice, including the overtime winner, while also tallying two assists.
- Aaron Andrade (Oakville, ON/Toronto Patriots) scored twice while Austin Micale (Hamilton, NJ/Nashville Spartans) picked up three assists.
- Ben Dardis (Pine Springs, MN/Olds Grizzlys) made 24 saves in goal in the win.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bengals offense came out firing with a pair of goals within the first six minutes of action. After Fredonia cut into the lead with a power play goal, Signoretti scored late in the period on a power play opportunity to give the Bengals a 3-1 lead after the first.
- After Andrade scored early in the third, the Blue Devils hung around scoring another goal late in the period, with the score standing at 4-2 Buffalo State entering the final period.
- Fredonia would score a power player goal halfway through the period. The Blue Devils would then score with 13 seconds remaining in regulation to even the score at 4-4.
- With just under one minute left in overtime, Signoretti whipped the game-winning goal as the Bengals came away with a crucial SUNYAC win.
FOR THE FOES
- Mathieu Fournier scored three goals for the Blue Devils while Charles-Anthony Barbeau made 38 saves in net.
