BROCKPORT, NY – The Buffalo State men's and women's indoor track & field teams opened SUNYAC Championships today at the Special Events and Recreation Center at SUNY Brockport.
 
THE BENGAL BREAKDOWN

• Natalia Sawyer (Schenectady, NY/Schalmont) will return for finals tomorrow in all three of her events: the 60-meter hurdles, 200-meter dash, and 400-meter dash. Sawyer will be the top-seed in the hurdles and the second seed in the 200-meter and 400-meter.
• Terrell Price (Depew, NY/Depew) will also return for finals in the 60-meter sprint after posting a time of 6.98 seconds.
• Ricky Curiel scored points for the Bengals today following a fifth place finish in the 5,000-meter at 15:31.28.
• Buffalo State also scored points in the distance medley relays with a fifth place finish for the women and a sixth place finish for the men.
• Ethan Mitrano (Penfield, NY/Penfield) and Bryan Honan (Cortland, NY/Cortland) finished sixth and seventh, respectively in the weight throw.
