BROCKPORT, NY – The Buffalo State men's and women's indoor track and field team finished competition at SUNYAC Championships this afternoon. The men finished seventh with 36 points while the women took home sixth with 42 points.
 
THE BENGAL BREAKDOWN

• Natalia Sawyer (Schenectady, NY/Schalmont) led the Bengals claiming her third straight 60-meter hurdle title with a time of 8.81 seconds.
• Sawyer later finished second in both the 200-meter and 400-meter and was part of the third place finishing 4x400-meter relay. She was also named the Most Valuable Performer of the Meet.
• Joining Sawyer on the 4x400-meter relay was Madison MacNeill (Buffalo, NY/West Seneca West), Nisaa Emery (Croton-on-Hudson, NY/Hendrick-Hudson), and Shamiah Brown (Buffalo, NY/Hutch Tech).
• MacNeill later picked up a fourth place finish in the high jump for Buffalo State.
• Noah Holden (Clarence Center, NY/Clarence) was seventh in the one-mile run while Terrell Price (Depew, NY/Depew) was seventh in the 60-meter dash.
• Ricky Curiel (East Amherst, NY/Clarence) crossed the line fourth in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 8:53.99 while Sidney Morris (Tonawanda, NY/Kenmore East) was second in the 800-meter run at 1:57.22.
• The men's 4x400-meter relay of Shiloh Cornel (Cambria Heights, NY/Cardozo), Luke Triplet (Depew, NY/Depew), Nolan Lyon (North Tonawanda, NY/Niagara-Wheatfield), and Morris closed out the meet with a sixth place finish.
