BUFFALO, NY – Gavin Wilczewski (East Aurora, NY/East Aurora) of the Buffalo State men's volleyball team was named the AMCC Men's Volleyball Offensive Athlete of the Week for his respective performance this past week.
Wilczewski was a staple for the Bengal offense totaling 43 kills, a .355 hitting percentage, and 20 digs in a pair of matchups with St. John Fisher and #20 Thiel. In Buffalo State's five-set win over the Cardinals, Wilczewski matched a program-record with 22 kills in a five-set match while averaging 4.40 kills per set.
The men's volleyball team returns to action tomorrow night with a road matchup at Houghton.
