HOW IT HAPPENED

The Hawks would answer back with their own four-straight point run to bring this AMCC bout back within even. However, the Bengals go into their bag of tricks, responding back with a six-point rally to take a commanding lead over the Hawks, before closing out the first set with four straight points, claiming the first set.
- In the second set, both sides would begin a run of trading points, with the Bengals building an advantage after some Hawks mistakes. These mistakes would open the door for the Bengals to take control of the set, leading to a four-point run before taking the second set behind a three-point rally…putting the Bengals in play to sweep the Hawks in three sets.
- In the third set, the Bengals maintained their momentum and led throughout. After a back-and-forth midway, they closed the match with seven straight points, preserving their 14-game unbeaten streak in the AMCC.
