BUFFALO, NY – The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) recognized its 2025-26 indoor track & field all-conference teams with five different Bengals earning the recognition. To earn All-SUNYAC in track & field, athletes must finish in the top three in their respective event.
 
Natalia Sawyer (Schenectady, NY/Schalmont) led the way for the Bengals earning four All-SUNYAC honors. Sawyer earned First Team All-SUNYAC as the SUNYAC Champion in the 60-meter hurdles, Second Team All-SUNYAC in the 200-meter and 400-meter runs, and Third Team All-SUNYAC as part of the 4x400-meter relay. Between indoor and outdoor, Sawyer has earned 13 All-SUNYAC honors in her career. She was also named the Most Valuable Performer of the Meet for the fourth time in her indoor career.

Joining Sawyer on the third place finishing 4x400-meter relay was Madison MacNeill (Buffalo, NY/West Seneca West), Nisaa Emery (Croton-on-Hudson, NY/Hendrick-Hudson), and Shamiah Brown (Buffalo, NY/Hutch Tech), all of which earn their first career All-SUNYAC distinction. The relay finished with a time of 4:11.86 as they beat Delhi by nearly three seconds to secure a podium finish. Plattsburgh finished first with Cortland right behind them in second.

Rounding out the field for the Bengals is Sidney Morris (Tonawanda, NY/Kenmore East) who earned Second Team All-SUNYAC in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:57.22. Morris was also part of the sixth-place finishing 4x400-meter relay to score for Buffalo State. After claiming the 800-meter title last indoor season, Morris earns his third career All-SUNYAC honor; all three are in the 800-meter (2024-25 indoor and outdoor, and 2025-26 indoor)
 
The Bengal men finished seventh overall while the women took home sixth. Those who have qualified will compete at AARTFC Regionals this weekend in New York City.
