Buffalo State University Athletics

Ashley Gizzo joined the Buffalo State swimming and diving programs as its assistant coach in September, 2021. 

Gizzo joins Buffalo State after spending three years as the assistant coach at the Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart, her alma mater. There, she organized practices, workouts, team bonding activities, and served in an advisory role with the student-athletes in order to help them achieve their personal and team goals. While a student at Sacred Heart, Gizzo led her Sharks to three consecutive Monsignor League titles from 2015-2017.

Gizzo, a North Tonawanda native, is a 2021 graduate of the University at Buffalo, where she earned a bachelor's degree in communication and political science and a minor in media study.
