The junior guard averaged 26.5 points in a pair of lopsided home wins over Potsdam and Plattsburgh on the weekend.  After scoring 16 points in just 20 minutes in Friday's 86-63 win over Potsdam on Friday, Simmons went off on Saturday. His 37 points in the 110-68 victory against Plattsburgh were one short of a career high, and his nine 3-pointers set a new school record.  He also moved into third-place on the school’s all-time scoring list with 1,346 career points.
