Ngabo knocked almost a full minute off his personal record, clocking 25:09 over Saturday's 8K course, placing 35th of 275 runners in an Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble raced filled with NCAA qualifiers.  The time is the fastest over that distance by a Bengal in recent history.  Ngabo helped lead the Bengals to a 12th-place finish in the 32-team event.
