Mariano hit .435 (10 of 23) with two doubles, two homers and 10 RBIs to pace the Bengals to a 7-1 week, including conference sweeps of Fredonia, Potsdam and Plattsburgh and a split against nationally-ranked Rochester.  The senior political science major split time at catcher and designated player during the eight-game stretch.  Mariano leads the team with a .396 batting average, six homeruns and 29 RBIs.
