Kowa, a senior economics and finance major, played a crucial role in both of the team's SUNYAC wins last week over Geneseo and Potsdam. In Wednesday's game against the Knights, Kowa led the Bengals defense to keep Geneseo off the board for the teams fifth shutout of the season. On Saturday against the Bears, Kowa was the key contributor tallying a goal and an assist in the Bengals 2-1 victory. Kowa's goal was his third of the season. Kowa has started in all 12 games for the Bengals and leads the team in minutes played with 1,031.
