ELMIRA, NY—No. 6 Elmira (7-2-0/6-1) blanked Buffalo State (2-4-2/1-4-2), 2-0, in an ECAC West game today at the Murray Athletic Center.

Elmira scored three minutes into the first period and added a power play goal with just 25 seconds elapsed in the second frame to earn the victory.

The Soaring Eagles outshot Buffalo State, 33-26. The Bengals were 0 for 9 with the skater advantage. Shannon Anesetti (Canonsburg, PA/Canon-McMillan) had 31 saves in the loss for Buffalo State.

Buffalo State will face Elmira again tomorrow at 2 p.m.
