BUFFALO, NY – The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) announced its 2025-26 women's hockey all-conference team today, recognizing Dakota Carlson (Perrysburg, OH/Biggby) with a spot on the SUNYAC All-Rookie Team.
 
Carlson was a mainstay in the Buffalo State lineup contributing 26 points on 16 goals and ten assists across 25 games played. She finished second in the SUNYAC in points and led the league in goals. Carlson had five multi-goal efforts including a hat trick in her second career game as part of a seven point opening weekend performance. She also tallied one power play goal and three game-winning goals.
 
The Bengals finished the season with a record of 12-11-2 (4-9-1 SUNYAC) while earning their most conference wins in a season since 2019-20 and most overall wins in a season since 2017-18.
