BUFFALO, NY—Casey Bull (Lockport, NY/Lockport) had two goals and two assists to lead Buffalo State (2-7-4/2-3-4) past Chatham (1-13-1/1-8-0), 8-2, in an ECAC West game this afternoon at the Ice Arena.

Brianna Murphy (Depew, NY/Lancaster) had two goals and an assist. Mariah Fairgrieve (Ft. Erie, ON/Lakeshore Catholic), Melissa Jeckovich (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara Falls) and Marissa McMullan (Haileybury, ON/Chingaucousy) added a goal and an assist. Katie Olejarski (Rockford, IL/Boylan Catholic) also scored. Leah Knott (Sinking Spring, PA/Wilson) chipped in three assists, and Linda Evans (Fairbanks, AK/West Valley) had a pair of helpers.

Buffalo State jumped out to a 4-0 lead. Chatham closed the gap to 4-2 early in the third period, but the Bengals scored four more goals in 2:48 to put the game out of reach.

Buffalo State will next host Chatham in the first of a pair of ECAC West games on Saturday at 4 p.m.
