OSWEGO, NY— Jillian Bergeron (Brockville, Ontario) scored her fourth goal of the season at 18:14 of the third period to lead the Oswego Lakers (3-3-0/2-3-0) to a 3-2 victory over the visiting Buffalo State Bengals (2-4-0/2-2-0) today in an ECAC West contest.

Courtney Carnes (Winslow, ME/Winslow) opened the scoring at 13:02 of the second period with a power-play goal to give the Bengals a 1-0 lead. Oswego responded with a pair of power-play markers before Buffalo State captain Casey Bull (Lockport, NY/Lockport) scored her first of the year at 10:53 of the third period.

Buffalo State went 1 for 6 on the power play and outshot the Lakers 37-30.  Alyssa Koniar (New Berlin, WI/University School of Milwaukee) had 27 saves for the Bengals.

Buffalo State will play Oswego again tomorrow at 3 p.m.
