BUFFALO, NY—Maggie Farrell (Hillsdale/Immaculate) netted 17 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead New Paltz (15-6/11-2) to a 71-47 victory over host Buffalo State (5-18/4-10) in a SUNYAC game today at the Sports Arena.

Kaitlin Clifford (Staten Island/Curtis) added 11 points for the Hawks, and Nicole Sarcone (Staten Island/Notre Dame) and Artie Williams (Newburgh/Newburgh Free) scored 10 each.

Shareese Hamer (Erie, PA/Strong Vincent) led Buffalo State with 18 points and nine rebounds.

New Paltz led 33-27 at the intermission and pulled away over the final 20 minutes. The Hawks dominated the Bengals inside, outscoring Buffalo State 36-14 in the paint.

Buffalo State will play its final home game on Tuesday against Fredonia at 6 p.m.
