(BOX SCORE)
BUFFALO, NY—Buffalo State (8-8-1/5-5-1) had its school-record six-game unbeaten streak snapped in dramatic fashion as Utica (9-7-2/5-5-2) scored the equalizer late and added the winner just 23 seconds into overtime for a 2-1 win in an ECAC West game this afternoon at the Ice Arena.

Kailyn Murray (Medicine Hat, AB/Warner Hockey School) and

Utica evened the score with 1:05 remaining in regulation with a shorthanded goal with the goalie on the bench in favor of an extra attacker. The Pioneers wasted little time in the extra period, banging home a rebound just 23 seconds into bonus hockey.
