ASTON, PA— Neumann (3-2/3-2) scored two goals in the span of 22 seconds to rally and defeat visiting Buffalo State (2-5/1-4) in an ECAC West game tonight at IceWorks Twin Rinks.

Christine Williams (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara Falls) opened the scoring for both teams, finding the back of the net on the power play for Buffalo State at the 14:47 mark of the second period, to give the Bengals the 1-0 lead after two. But the Knights responded in the third, scoring two unanswered, including a power play marker of their own. Kailyn Murray (Medicine Hat, AB/Warner Hockey School) and Katie Olejarski (Rockford, IL/Boylan Catholic) each recorded an assist in the loss.

Shots on goal were even at 33, and Alyssa Koniar (New Berlin, WI/Univ. School of Milwaukee) made 31 saves in net for the Bengals.

Buffalo State and Neumann will face off again tomorrow at 3 p.m.
