ASTON, Pa--Neumann (11-9-1/6-7-1) scored the game-winning goal with 2:04 remaining to defeat visiting Buffalo State (9-12-1/6-9-1), 3-2, despite 51 saves by Alyssa Koniar (New Berlin, WI/Univ. School of Milwaukee) in an ECAC West game today at Ice Works Arena.

Rio Flynn (Happy Valley, UT/Appleby College ON) and Kailyn Murray (Medicine Hat, AB/Warner Hockey School) each scored for Buffalo State for the second-consecutive day.

Neumann jumped out to a 2-0 lead, but after a Bengals timeout, Buffalo State regrouped and battled back to knot the score at 2-2 early in the third period. The Knights broke the tie with a late unassisted goal.

Neumann held a 54-25 advantage in shots on goal. Buffalo State was 2 for 6 on the power play, and the Knights were 0 for 5.

Buffalo State will host nationally-ranked RIT next Friday at 4 p.m.
