BUFFALO, NY—Buffalo State (6-6-2) had its three-game unbeaten streak come to an end this evening with a 3-1 loss to visiting Trinity (5-7-0) in a non-conference game this evening at Buffalo State.

The Bantams opened the scoring in the closing minutes of the first period, but Brianna Murphy (Depew, NY/Depew) evened the score for Buffalo State with an unassisted tally with just six seconds remaining in the frame.  Trinity netted a power-play marker early in the second period, however, and iced the game with a late empty-netter.

Trinity outshot Buffalo State, 29-11.  Jordan Lee (Colorado Springs, CO/Widefield) made 26 saves between the pipes for the Bengals.

Buffalo State and Trinity will meet again tomorrow at 1 p.m.
