BUFFALO, NY—Oswego (9-8-2/8-4-2) netted three third-period goals to rally past Buffalo State (6-11-2/3-8-1), 3-1, this afternoon at the Ice Arena.

Brianna Murphy (Depew, NY/Lancaster) gave the Bengals the lead after recording her fourth goal of the season at 7:55 of the first period, assisted by Christine Williams (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara Falls) and Leah Knott (Sinking Spring, PA/Wilson).

After a scoreless second stanza, Oswego scored tied the game at 1-1 at 1:33 of the third and notched the game winner less than a minute later.  The Lakers added an insurance marker late in the period to complete the weekend sweep and come away with a pair of critical ECAC West wins.

Oswego held a slim 27-26 advantage in shots and both teams were 0 for 4 on the power play.  Jordan Lee (Colorado Springs, CO/Widefield) made 24 saves for Buffalo State.

Buffalo State will play another pair of ECAC West games on Friday and Saturday when the Bengals travel to Elmira to take on the nationally-ranked Soaring Eagles.
