ASTON, Pa.— Neumann (2-0/2-0) netted three second-period goals en route to completing the weekend sweep of  visiting Buffalo State (1-3/0-2), 5-2, in today's ECAC West contest.

Neumann scored the only goal of the first period, before Christina Zandri (Baldwinsville/CW Baker) evened the score at 1-1 with her second of the season early in the second period.  The Knights pulled away from there, however, netting three goals in the frame, including a dagger with two seconds remaining.  Neumann added another goal midway through the final stanza, before Melissa Ash (Binghamton/Chenanga Valley) completed the scoring with a later power-play goal for the Bengals.

Buffalo State peppered the Neumann goal with 36 shots and allowed just 22, including holding a 20-7 shot advantage in the third period. 

Jordan Lee (Colorado Springs, CO/Widefield) allowed four goals on 15 shots, before being relieved by Sara Quigley (Canton, MA/National Sports Academy) in the third period and made six saves while allowing one goal.

Buffalo State will look to get back on track next weekend when it travels to Chatham for a pair of conference games on Saturday and Sunday.
