BUFFALO, NY—No. 3 Elmira (17-3-1/12-2) used a four-goal second period to break open the game and cruise past Buffalo State (5-13-1/2-8), 6-0, in an ECAC West game this afternoon at the Ice Arena.

The Soaring Eagles peppered the Bengals' net with 39 shots, while holding Buffalo State to just six.  Elmira finished 2 for 8 on the power play, compared to the Bengals' 0 for 4 outing.  Jordan Lee (Colorado Springs, CO/Widefield) allowed four goals on 21 shots and was replaced by Sarah Quigley (Canton, MA/National Sports Academy) who finished 16 saves.

Buffalo State will travel to Cortland for another conference game on Friday at 7 p.m.
