BUFFALO, NY—No. 10-ranked Adrian (12-3) shutout Buffalo State (4-8-1) for the second straight game and completed the weekend sweep, winning 5-0 in a non-conference game tonight at the Ice Arena.

The Bulldogs opened the scoring on their first shot of the game at 3:20 and broke the game open with three goals in the final 3:16 of the second period, including two in the span of 36 seconds.  They added another tally in the final stanza to close out all scoring.

Adrian peppered the Bengals' net with 31 shots, compared to 13 by Buffalo State.  Jordan Lee (Colorado Springs, CO/Widefield) had 18 saves in two periods of play, while Sarah Quigley (Canton, MA/National Sports Academy) recorded eight stops in the final 20 minutes.

Buffalo State will have little time to rest as it travels to UMass-Boston for a non-conference game on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
