Box Score BUFFALO, NY—Adrian (4-1) scored two goals in the first minute and 10 seconds en route to a dominating 12-1 win over Buffalo State (0-3) in a non-conference game this afternoon at the Ice Arena.

The Bulldogs tallied a total of eight goals in the first period, three in the second and one in the final frame. The Bengals only goal came in the third period when Jeyna Minnick (Rochester, NY/Greece-Arcadia) intercepted a pass at center ice and converted on the breakaway for her first of the season.

Adrian outshot Buffalo State, 67-6, and finished 2 for 4 on the power play, while the Bengals were 0 for 6. Jordan Lee (Colorado Springs, CO/Widefield) and Sarah Quigley (Canton, MA/National Sports Academy) combined for 55 saves, with Lee stopping 46 shots in 51 minutes of play, while Quigley turned aside nine shots in nine minutes.

Buffalo State will return to ECAC West play when it travels to top-ranked Plattsburgh for a Saturday-Sunday set.
