Box Score PLATTSBURGH, NY—The No.1-ranked team in the nation Plattsburgh (6-0/3-0) shut out visiting Buffalo State (0-5/0-4) for the second time in as many days and completed the weekend sweep with an 8-0 victory in an ECAC West game today at Stafford Arena.

Plattsburgh tallied three power-play goals and added a shorthanded marker to cruise to the victory.  The Cardinals finished 3 for 4 with the extra attacker, while the Bengals went 0 for 3. 

The Cardinals outshot Buffalo State 55-11.  Jordan Lee (Colorado Springs/Widefield) allowed six goals on 40 shots in two periods of work, before being relieved by Sarah Quigley (Canton, MA/National Sports Academy), who surrendered two goals on 15 shots in the final frame.

Buffalo State will look for its first win of the season when it travels to SUNY Canton for a pair of non-conference games next Friday and Saturday.
