Box Score CANTON, NY—SUNY Canton (4-2-2) scored four unanswered goals to complete the weekend sweep of visiting Buffalo State (0-7) with a 4-2 win this afternoon in a non-conference game.

Nikki Kirchberger (Buffalo, NY/W. Seneca West) scored a pair of first period goals, her fourth and fifth of the season to give Buffalo State a 2-0 lead at the first intermission.  The Kangaroos cut the deficit in half with the only goal of the second stanza.  After tying the game midway through the third period, Canton netted a shorthanded goal to pull ahead and then added an empty-netter with 11 seconds remaining.

Jordan Lee (Colorado Springs/Widefield) finished with 23 saves for the Bengals as Canton held a 27-18 advantage in shots on goal. 

Buffalo State will visit Utica for a pair of ECAC West games next Saturday and Sunday.
