Box Score BUFFALO, NY—Sarah Sheils (Pittsburgh, Pa.) netted the game winner for Franklin Pierce (7-1), as the Ravens edged Buffalo State (0-11), 1-0, in a non-conference game today at the Ice Arena.

After two scoreless periods, Sheils found the back of the net with a power play goal at 12:39 of the third stanza, giving Franklin Pierce the weekend sweep.

The Ravens held a 24-11 advantage in shots and finished 1 for 7 with the extra skater, while Buffalo State was 0 for 3. Sarah Quigley (Canton, MA/National Sports Academy) had 23 saves for the Bengals.

Buffalo State will return to action after the New Year with a two-game set at Adrian on Jan. 10 and 11.
