Box Score BUFFALO, NY— Kara Goodwin (Avon Lake, OH/Avon Lake) scored on the power play at 9:06 of the third period to force overtime, and Buffalo State (3-19-1/3-12-1) skated to 1-1 tie against visiting Neumann (6-15-2/2-10-2) in an ECAC West game today at the Ice Arena.

After a scoreless first period, the Knights netted a short-handed goal to in the second to take the 1-0 lead.  Goodwin's 15th goal of the season, assisted by Nikki Kirchberger (Buffalo, NY/W. Seneca West) and Alison Mish (Canastota, NY/Canastota) forced the extra session, but neither team could find the back of the net.

Neumann held a 26-14 advantage in shots, and outshot Buffalo State, 5-0, in the overtime period. Jordan Lee (Colorado Springs, CO/Widefield) had 25 saves, including a glove save just 29 seconds into the extra session to keep the Bengals in the game. The Knights were 0 for 8 on the power play, while Buffalo State finished 1 for 7.

Buffalo State will wrap up its regular season with a two-game set against University of New England, with the first game on Friday at 7 p.m.
