ITHACA, NY – The Buffalo State track and field teams returned to action for the first time in the 2022 year, competing at the Kane Invitational hosted by Cornell University on Saturday afternoon.

NOTABLES
- Clara Sensini (Kingston, NY/Kingston) finished first in the women's 500-meter dash with a time of 1:20.84, beating out competitors from Division I schools Binghamton and Cornell, and Division II school Daemen.
- Benaleo Daniels (Buffalo, NY/Binghamton) took second in the men's 800-meter dash.
- Collin Snyder (Buffalo, NY/JFK) bested his opponent in the men's high jump, clearing a height of 1.83 meters.
- Joel Ramirez (New York, NY/WHEELS) earned the final place in the men's 60-meter dash finals with a preliminary time of 7.47.
- David Ibalio (Sloatsburg, NY/Nyack) won his heat in the men's 200-meter dash, and finished fifth overall with a time of 23.59.
- Nas Muslim Dost (Buffalo, NY/Maryvale) finished fourth in the men's long jump with a distance of 6.07 meters.
