BUFFALO, NY - The Buffalo State women's hockey team is back in action after a 10 day break in games, hosting Hilbert in non-conference action today before the resumption of NEWHL play this weekend. Puck drop is set for 3:00 p.m.

BREAKING DOWN THE BENGALS
- Buffalo State enters today's contest with a 2-6-0 overall record (0-6-0 NEWHL). The Bengals fell to Canton 2-0 in their previous game on Nov. 19.
- Lilli Adimey (Buffalo, NY/Buffalo Bisons) and Madi Digges (Madison, AL/St. Louis Blues AAA) are tied for the team lead in blocked shots this season. The pair have each blocked nine shots, while teammates Miya Silva (El Monte, CA/Anaheim Lady Ducks) and Katie Sarich (Columbia, MD/Washington Pride) have eight and seven blocks respectively.
- Jessica Auge (Laingsburg, MI/Honeybaked Detroit) has picked off right where she left off at the end of her record-breaking campaign last year. Auge set the Buffalo State program record for most saves in a single season with 990. She leads the conference with 355 saves through four games this season and is third with a .932 save percentage.
- Sage Running Rabbit (Siksika, AB/Elite Southern Express) leads Buffalo State with five points on one goal and five assists.
A BIRD'S-EYE VIEW OF THE HAWKS
- Hilbert enters with an 0-4-0 overall record. The Hawks came out on the short end of things in their last game against Canton, faltering 11-1.
- The Hawks have one goal apiece by Abby Dawson and Abby MacNeil this season.
THE HISTORY
This will be the first meeting of the sides all-time. Hilbert is in its first season of competition after the creation of the women's hockey program in 2021.
