BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State women's hockey team looks to close out the fall semester on a high note this weekend, traveling to take on Neumann University in non-conference action on Friday and Saturday. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m. Friday, and 2 p.m. Saturday.

EYES ON THE BENGALS

• Buffalo State enters the weekend with a 3-7 overall record, and the Bengals are still looking for their first road victory of the year.
• Erica Greene (Oswego, NY/Shoreline Sharks) recorded three goals and two assists in two games last week, earning NEWHL Rookie of the Week honors. The freshman forward netted her first collegiate hat trick against Hilbert, and leads Buffalo State with five goals on the season.
•  Emma Ramseier (Oak Creek, WI/Milwaukee Jr. Admirals) also tallied three goals, her first three goals of her career in the win over Hilbert.
• Sage Running Rabbit (Siksika, AB/Elite Southern Express) has matched her point total from last season through ten games this year. The sophomore forward has two goals and is tied for the team lead with four assists.

 
NEUMANN NOTES

• The Knights enter with a 1-9 overall record, and are looking for their first home victory of the season after starting 0-6 on home ice.
• Neuman has four players tied for the team lead in goals with two each: Jamiyah Alexander, Cecelia Mick, Rachel Frederick, and Lian Sydorowicz.
• Michelle Winand-Bacon has stopped 302 shots in goal for the Knights this season, and her 37.75 saves per game lead the United Collegiate Hockey Conference.

 
THE HISTORY

• Neumann holds a very slight 16-15-5 edge over Buffalo State since the first meeting in 2001. However, Buffalo State has won six consecutive meetings of the squads, including a 7-1 victory in the last meeting in 2017.
