BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Buffalo State Bengals women's hockey team is back in action this weekend at Cortland for a Friday and Saturday showdown against the Red Dragons. These games are a makeup for the originally scheduled weekend series of Jan. 21-22. A Look at Buffalo State

• The Bengals come into this weekend with a 1-17-1 overall and 0-12 conference record. They are still searching for their first NEWHL victory. 
• Buffalo State was blanked 5-0 by the Oswego State Lakers in the team's last outing this past Tuesday. 
• Kiara Haynes (Littleton, CO/Team Colorado), Sage Running Rabbit (Siksika, AB/Elite Southern Express), and Katie Sarich (Columbia, MD/Washington Pride U19) each had two shots to lead the team in that category.

• The Red Dragons enter this weekend's contests with a 14-4-1 overall and 9-4-1 conference record. 
• The team edged out a 2-1 win at Morrisville State on Tuesday in their last contest. 
• Nicole Tulowiecki opened the scoring for Cortland, and Mia Hlasnick netted the game winner on a power play goal late in the third period to secure the victory for Cortland.

• Buffalo State leads the all-time series versus the Red Dragons 27-23-10. Cortland came away with the victory in the last matchup by a 6-2 score.
