LEWISBURG, PA – Shevaughn Allen (Buffalo, NY/JFK) broke the school and SUNYAC records in the long jump with a leap of 7.52 meters to lead the Buffalo State men's track and field team at the Bucknell University Bison Outdoor Classic.

FOR THE BENGAL MEN

• Allen's jump broke Bob Jones' school and conference record of 7.43 meters that had stood since 1992. It is also the second-best mark in the country this season. He also took first place in the triple jump, jumping 15.66 meters for the best mark in the country this season.
• Dom Cervellera (Orchard Park, NY/Orchard Park) nearly matched his season best in the discus, throwing a distance of 40.28 meters.
• Chris Diem (Buffalo, NY/Cleveland Hill) threw 43.30 meters in the javelin.
• Devin Austin (Kennedy, NY/Falconer) cleared 1.88 meters in the high jump.
• The 4x100 relay of David Ibalio (Sloatsburg, NY/Nyack), Jarrod Polk (Bolivar, NY/Bolivar-Richburg), Nas Muslim Dost (Buffalo, NY/Maryvale), and Tyler McGrath (Clarence Center, NY/Clarence) set a season-best time of 43.06 seconds.
• Dylan Devine (Brockport, NY/Brockport) ran the 400-meter dash in 52.21 seconds.
• McGrath finished the 100-meter dash in 11.10 seconds, and was just off setting a new personal-best mark in the 200-meter dash, finishing in 22.71 seconds.
• Moray Walker (New City, NY/White Plains) completed the 200-meter dash in 23.08 seconds.

 
FOR THE BENGAL WOMEN

• Sawyer's time in the 100-meter hurdles was a personal-best mark of  14.03 seconds, just seven-hundredths of a second off the school record.
• Makhia Laster (Buffalo, NY/Tapestry Charter) jumped 5.30 meters in the long jump, and finished the 100-meter dash in 12.80 seconds.
• Jenna Raczka (Cheektowaga, NY/Maryvale) finished the 400-meter dash in a personal-best time of 59.81 seconds, and ran 27.24 seconds in the 200-meter dash.
