ROCHESTER, NY – The Buffalo State indoor track and field teams had several strong performances as they returned to action this weekend for the final time in the regular season at the Nazareth Conference Tune-Up.
 
 
FOR THE BENGAL MEN

• Valentino Lucas (Amityville, NY/Amityville), Chris Kaszynski (Buffalo, NY/Kenmore West), and Jarrod Polk (Bolivar, NY/Bolivar-Richburg) each earned individual wins to lead the Bengal men.
• Lucas earned the win in the 60-meter hurdles with a AARTFC time of 8.59 while Kaszynski posted the top mark in the pole vault at 4.75 meters.
• Lucas also posted a fifth-place finish in the high jump at 1.77 meters.
• Polk leaped to a winning mark of 13.98 meters in the triple jump.
• Sidney Morris (Tonawanda, NY/Kenmore East) raced to a third-place finish in the 400-meter dash with a time of 51.23.
• The jumping trio of Seth Conner (Cheektowaga, NY/Cheektowaga), Kai Messmer (Buffalo, NY/St. Joe's), and Nas Muslim Dost (Buffalo, NY/Maryvale) placed fourth, fifth, and seventh, respectively in the long jump.
• Xzavier Goodman (Buffalo, NY/Olmstead) paced the throwing events finishing third in the shot put and eighth in the weight throw.
• Dom Cervellera (Orchard Park, NY/Orchard Park) and Logan Abate (Green Brook, NJ/Watchung Hills) also earned top-10 finishes in their respective events.
