Kaszynski Breaks Pole Vault Record Again As Men's Indoor Competes At Youngstown State

YOUNGSTOWN, OH – The Buffalo State indoor track and field teams had several strong performances as they returned to action this weekend competing at the Youngstown State Invite at the Watson and Tressel Training Site.
 
 
FOR THE BENGAL MEN
  • Chris Kaszynski (Buffalo, NY/Kenmore West) set the tone breaking his school record in the pole vault for the fourth time this season with a leap of 4.84 meters.
  • Tyler McGrath (Clarence Center, NY/Clarence) took fourth in the 60-meter dash with a time of 6.93.
  • Sidney Morris (Tonawanda, NY/Kenmore East) took eighth in the 800-meter run crossing the line with a time of 1:57.93.
  • Nas Muslim Dost (Buffalo, NY/Maryvale) and Jarrod Polk (Bolivar, NY/Bolivar-Richburg) each were top-10 in the long jump.
  • Kai Messmer (Buffalo, NY/St. Joe's) took sixth in the triple jump with a leap of 13.20 meters while Xzavier Goodman (Buffalo, NY/Olmstead) took sixth in the shot put and fifth in the weight throw.
