ROCHESTER, NY – The Buffalo State men's and women's indoor track and field team competed at the final day of AARTFC Regional Championships hosted by Nazareth University at the Golisano Training Center this afternoon.

FOR THE BENGALS

• Natalia Sawyer (Schenectady, NY/Schalmont) led the way taking the win in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.56 seconds, matching the meet record
• In the men's triple jump, Jarrod Polk (Bolivar, NY/Bolivar-Richburg) took third with a best mark of 14.32 meters.
• Makhia Laster (Buffalo, NY/Tapestry Charter) raced to a sixth-place finish in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.83.
• Jenna Raczka (Cheektowaga, NY/Maryvale) raced to a fifth-place finish in the 400-meter dash with a time of 58.44.

The Bengals will wait for the results of the remaining meets around the country to see if they have officially punched their tickets to NCAA Championships at Norfolk State next weekend.
