GENESEO, NY – The Buffalo State outdoor track and field teams had some impressive performances this afternoon at the Geneseo Multi Invite at the Geneseo Track facilities.
 
For The Bengal Men

• Tyler McGrath (Clarence Center, NY/Clarence), Gio Ventura (Geneva, NY/Geneva), Chris Kaszynski (Buffalo, NY/Kenmore West), and Xzavier Goodman (Buffalo, NY/Olmstead) each picked up wins for the Bengals.
• McGrath earned the win in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.03 seconds while Ventura earned the win in the 5,000-meter run with a mark of 15:45.74, six seconds ahead of the next best runner.
• Kaszynski won the pole vault with a leap of 4.45 meters while Goodman won the shot put with a throw of 15.94 meters. Goodman also took fourth in the hammer throw.
• Kai Messmer (Buffalo, NY/St. Joe's) also had a strong showing for the Bengals finishing second in the long jump and fifth in the 100-meter dash.
• Dom Cervellera (Orchard Park, NY/Orchard Park) took second in the discus throw and Logan Abate (Green Brook, NJ/Watchung Hills) took fourth in the 100-meter sprint.
• Sidney Morris (Tonawanda, NY/Kenmore East) finished third overall in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:59.97.
