Women's Soccer Announces 2024 Schedule

The Buffalo State women's soccer team, led by Greg Margolis, has announced the schedule for the upcoming 2024 season. The Bengals will play a schedule of 17 games, with nine being at home. Buffalo State will be looking to secure a playoff berth after achieving a winning record for the first time since 2016 last year, with two new teams in the conference.
 
The Bengals will open the year with eight consecutive non-conference matchups. The season will begin on the road August 30th against Keuka, followed shortly after by a home game under the lights against Chatham (Aug. 31st). Buffalo State will play at home against St. John Fisher on September 4th, then will travel to Hilbert (Sept. 7th) and Brockport (Sept. 11th). Margolis' team will be back at home against the University of Rochester (Sept. 14th), Houghton (Sept. 17th), and St. Lawrence (Sept. 21st) to close out the non-conference schedule.
 
The Bengals will be home against Potsdam on September 28th to kick off SUNYAC play, then will travel to SUNYAC newcomer Morrisville on October 2nd. They will then host another new conference contender in Canton (October 5th), before a "Battle by the Lake" matchup against Fredonia (October 9th) at home.
 
The final stretch of conference play includes four contests against conference championship contestants from last year, beginning with a road matchup at Plattsburgh on October 12th. The Bengals will then be at Oneonta on October 16th, before returning for the final home game of the regular season against New Paltz on October 19th. Buffalo State closes the regular season on the road at for the final two matchups, traveling to Oswego (October 23rd), before facing reining SUNYAC champions Cortland, who the Bengals played to a tie against last season.
 
The SUNYAC Tournament will be held from November 2nd to November 9th, with Buffalo State searching for its first title since 2016.
