BUFFALO, NY – The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) announced its 2025 women's volleyball all-conference team today, recognizing three Buffalo State team members in
Ella Wittman (Cheektowaga, NY/Springville Griffith),
Karlie Shaffer (Smithtown, NY/Smithtown East), and
Nicole Delli Colli (Rye, NY/Rye).
Wittman earns her second straight First Team All-SUNYAC selection. The junior outside hitter led the Bengals with 398 kills, averaging 3.62 kills per set, with 324 digs, 35 assists, and 44 services aces. Wittman posted a career-high 24 kills against Hamilton back in September and was second in the conference in kills and third in kills per set.
Shaffer earns a spot on Third Team All-SUNYAC, earning All-Conference honors for a second straight season. The senior setter was a staple of the Bengals lineup posting 355 assists while averaging 3.45 assists across 103 sets played. Shaffer also tallied 36 service aces, 222 digs, and ranked in the top-15 in the conferences in total assists.
Delli Colli rounds out the Bengals' honorees with a Third Team All-SUNYAC selection for the first time in her career. Delli Colli finished the season with 206 kills, ten assists, 18 service aces, 107 digs, and 17 total blocks across 104 sets played. Delli Colli posted a career-high 12 kills against Oswego earlier this season.
The Bengals finished the season with a record of 15-16 (5-4 SUNYAC) as they reached the SUNYAC Postseason for a fifth straight year. Following their first round win over Fredonia, the Bengals reached the semifinals as they fell to the eventual conference-champion Cortland Red Dragons.
